Menlo Park, CA & San Francisco, CA—June 9, 2015 Today Evidation Health and Kinsights announced a partnership to improve efficiency of and patient access to applicable clinical studies in pediatric populations. Evidation Health, a company launched by GE Ventures and Stanford Health Care, is focused on quantifying the health outcomes of digital health solutions and leveraging digital tools to more efficiently generate real-world evidence. By partnering with Kinsights, Evidation Health expands its pediatric population reach, further enabling virtual targeted recruitment of patients for appropriate and relevant clinical studies.

“Our vision of enabling precision digital medicine in the real world should include special populations, and digital tools bring new capability to help with this. We are excited about the Kinsights partnership, as it will enhance our ability to access and enroll applicable pediatric patient populations and communities of interest,” said Evidation Health CEO Deborah Kilpatrick.

Kinsights, an advice-sharing network for parents with integrated pediatric health records, helps parents connect to relevant communities and resources based on medical conditions, location and age of child. The partnership with Evidation Health offers Kinsights’ community members and their children the opportunity to get involved in clinical research. The ability to learn about and enroll in relevant clinical studies may be of particular interest to the highly motivated members of their rare disease communities.

“Partnering with Evidation Health will help us to more efficiently connect parents to relevant clinical studies. Parents on our platform are eager to learn about new research, as there are often limited treatment options for their child’s condition,” said Jennifer Chung, co-founder and CEO of Kinsights.
