Individuals can opt-in per-use to connect wearable and patient-reported data with claims, EMR, prescription, and lab data to enable more personalized research and health programs

Evidation and HealthVerity today announced a collaboration to provide greater transparency into the patient experience by allowing individuals to connect their wearable and survey data with real-world data from clinical settings via HealthVerity. This partnership will enable researchers and developers of health programs to be more responsive to individuals’ unique health considerations, correlating activities, behaviors, and outcomes in real-life with data from clinical settings.

Based on consent per-use, individuals can choose to share electronic medical records, medical and pharmacy claims, and lab data, along with Achievement data including wearable, activity, and survey data, with researchers to help them better understand, detect, and treat diseases, faster. Characterizing patients’ lived experiences is especially significant in the context of cardiometabolic, autoimmune, respiratory, neurological and infectious diseases, where capturing the continuous patient journey from clinic to real-life is complex and critical to impact-driven research, care delivery, and product development.

Both Evidation and HealthVerity have a strong commitment to individual privacy and control. Evidation will continue its privacy-first practice of obtaining consent on a per-use basis.

HealthVerity manages the largest real-world data ecosystem in the United States, comprised of more than 150 billion de-identified transactions on 330 million Americans from 75 major data providers. With best-in-class patient identity resolution technology, HealthVerity enables its customers to connect and exchange data in a seamless, privacy-protected manner.

Evidation’s Achievement platform is the largest digital health network in the United States and is comprised of more than 4 million individuals from 9 out of 10 US zip codes. Achievement has been the basis for pioneering real-world studies across diverse disease and therapeutic areas, from autoimmune conditions and Alzheimer’s disease to respiratory conditions and COVID-19.
