Evidation and innovationOchsner deepen their partnership in understanding the link between everyday behaviors and health outcomes

New Orleans, LA & San Mateo, CA– December 5, 2017 – Today, innovationOchsner (iO) and Evidation Health announce a joint program to offer Evidation’s Achievement, a consumer rewards platform for health-related actions, to Ochsner patients. This further aligns the two groups in their partnership to quantify real-life health outcomes and develop patient-centered solutions to improve health outcomes.

Ochsner patients join millions of members in Evidation’s Achievement community, where they earn rewards for health-related activities like tracking steps, sleep, condition-specific metrics, and participating in research studies. Achievement provides an individualized experience that encourages members to share and achieve their health-related goals.

“Through our partnership with Evidation, we saw an opportunity to empower Ochsner patients and improve our ability to do evidence-based care,” said Richard Milani, MD, Ochsner Health System’s Chief Clinical Transformation Officer and iO’s Medical Director. “With Evidation’s scalable technology platform and expertise in measuring how everyday behaviors correlate with health outcomes, we will now have the opportunity to incorporate learnings into individualized patient care in real time.”

“Individuals and their data are at the center of the volume-to-value transformation in healthcare. Ochsner patients are choosing to play a role in quantifying health outcomes in their real lives, and this unique collaboration will shed new light on what’s working in populations, at scale,” said Deborah Kilpatrick, Ph.D., CEO of Evidation Health.
