We’re releasing some updates to how we track and award points for activity data from your connected apps!
Our goal is to make it easier for you to keep track of and earn rewards for behaviors and actions that contribute to better overall health.
These changes will be rolling out over the next few weeks. Be sure to update your app regularly to see them!
So, what’s changing?
Points History
The new Points History screen will allow you to quickly see a breakdown of your earned points—including card completions and tracked activity.
Connected App Options
Discover a summary of the activities you can track and earn points for with each app (Fitbit, Apple Health, etc.) within the updated Connected Apps screens.
This will make it easier to understand which activities we track and how many points you can earn for each.
Daily Points Goal
You’ll soon see a daily points goal for connected app activities to help you stay motivated and track your progress on a day-to-day basis!
Connected Apps Update
We’re making some changes to how points are awarded for activities tracked by connected apps. We’re doing this for two important reasons:
- To help make earning points for activities more equitable for all our members
- To better align with our goal of rewarding members for behaviors that promote longer-term health
This means you might see an increase in points for certain activities and a decrease in others. For example, you might earn more points for some activities, like sleep. For other types of points, like swimming and steps, you may see a decrease. While most people won’t see a big change in overall points awarded, we know that change can be difficult and appreciate you for understanding the importance of making points rewards equitable for all members. Thank you for being a valued member of the Evidation community.
